Wellbeing is not just the absence of disease or illness. It is a complex combination of a person's physical, mental, emotional and social health factors. Wellbeing is strongly linked to happiness and life satisfaction. In short, wellbeing could be described as how you feel about yourself and your life.
At Headlands Primary School we strongly believe in the importance of supporting children's wellbeing. We want all of our children to be happy children with good self-esteem, who are ready to learn and get the most out of being at school. We have an excellent whole school provision to support this, as well as a strong pastoral team of highly trained and experienced staff who can provide a range of support for children who experience emotional difficulties.
