We use 'out and about' experiences throughout our curriculum to support the children's learning and to develop skills for life. By using the TEACHH approach to plan and implement trips out, our children can have positive experiences out in the community and memorable learning opportunities too.
In Woodlands we have our very own minibus. Each class goes out on the minibus one afternoon each week and this is linked to the topic and skills for life. For example:-
- Tescos to buy food for snacks
- Garden centre
- Cafe
- Local park
We also have whole provision trips such as:-
- Milton Keynes shopping centre at Christmas
- Trip to the seaside
- Woburn Safari Park
- Farm
